「21g in the bottle」

ここの作品のテーマは
『命を宿したガラスボトルの世界』である。

ガラスは古くから人々の生活の中で容器として扱われてきた。
また使い終えた後も、細かく砕いて溶解炉に入れ、金型に流し込むことで
また新たな容器として生まれ変わる素材である。

しかしガラスは生まれ変わりを繰り返す中で
その時に使われていた痕跡も、熱の中で溶かすことで、
見えなくなってしまう。
そこに私は言いようのない寂しさを覚え、
モノの存在価値を再認識したいと思った。

そして私は自らガラスの瓶を作り、
その内側にガラス作品の原料となるガラスのカレット（粒）を詰めた。
それを窯の中で熱を加え、全てが溶け出してしまう前に取り出すことで、
溶ける一瞬の表情をガラスボトルの中に閉じ込めた。

内側の世界は、溶けて垂れた際の極細の糸を引いていたり
ガラス粒の形状を残す部分と
溶けて底に液体状に溜まった部分が存在する。
それは、存在した熱や時間の痕跡であり、
もはや人が触れることのできない不可侵の世界である。

その世界が成り立つのは
重力や熱、時などの自然の力に起因し、
制御が利かず、想像を超えた動きをする様は
まるで生命である。

そんな生き物の様に動き出したガラス瓶が
織りなす摩訶不思議な世界を
様々な角度から覗き込んで楽しんでください。

The Theme of my glass is “Life In A Bottle”

When I found empty bottles on the table, I understood that the drinking party has gone.

Glass is the most neutral and natural of packaging material since last may years in our life. Glass is made from three natural ingredient, sand, limestone and soda ash. It is the only package that is reusable as well as recyclable. It become to another shape of glass through the recycle process.
The reformed glass looks a new glass but it may contain a piece of memory from last life.

Glass can be reformed and used over an over again. It will be used by different people for different purpose. Glass may have memory of life and my glass presents lost memory of the glass.

I made glass bottle myself, and then I fill the bottle with piece of broken glass which is as base material of my art work.
I heated it in a kiln, and picked out before it had completely melted. In doing so I shut moment of melting into it.

The inner world have two kinds of expression.One has left trace on glass cullet such as still in melting forms threads by gravity effect,
the other has melted glass in the bottom of bottle.
The expression is trace of heat and time, and it is inviolability world.

Because it consists of the power of nature which influenced by glavity and heat, time,
it is out of control and it move beyond imagination.
So it looks like conceived a life in a bottle.

That is the reason why I want to you to look my art work in at the window from different angles.
